SCHEDULE
Where should I be and when?
On Friday, welcome drinks start at 7:30 pm at Bill Chawke’s Bar right in Adare. How will you get there and back? If you’re staying in town, it’s within walking distance. But we’re also arranging a shuttle service that will pick people up and drop them off at their local accommodation. Details to come on pickup and drop-off times. (Note: it isn’t going outside Adare, so if you’re in Limerick or farther, you’ll have to arrange your own transportation!) And in case you’re deciding your dinner plans, just know we’ll have a barbecue with burgers and hot dogs for anyone who may be hungry. And drinks, of course!
On Saturday, the ceremony starts at 2 pm at Holy Trinity Abbey Church. Sometimes people think a 2 pm start time means 2:15 pm or 2:30 pm. (Note: I am, unfortunately, often one of those people.) But on this blessed day, 2 pm start time really does mean 2 pm start time. I don’t want to see your face right before I’m walking down the aisle! How will you make it there on time? Well, again, if you’re staying in town, it’s within walking distance. However, we will also offer a shuttle service to pick up people from their local accommodations. Again, details to come. Where do we go from there? Once the ceremony is over, the shuttle will take people from the church to the cocktail hour at Adare Manor. And so it begins! The shuttle service will also provide people with rides back to their local accommodations, so long as they’re in the area. Otherwise, consider arranging a taxi in advance.
