But what should I wear?
On Friday night, for welcome drinks, we’re keeping it fairly casual at Bill Chawke’s bar. (I’ve been calling it “cocktail casual,” although I’m not sure that’s a thing.) I recognize this can be somewhat disorienting, as what is a person to wear to such an occasion? For women, I have a single word: sundress. Or jumpsuit. Or really, just anything that makes you feel pretty and comfortable. As for men, what’s the male equivalent to a sundress? Khakis? Chinos? Hell, if you want to wear jeans, have at it. Did this help clarify anything for you? I didn’t think so either.
On Saturday night, we’re a bit less loosey-goosey. It’ll be black tie, which means a floor-length gown or a more formal midi-length gown for women. A formal jumpsuit would also do the trick. Feel free to have fun with it—I love colors! Just no white, please! As for men, a tuxedo or dark suit with a dark necktie or bow tie is perfect.

Saturday Night (Adare Manor, Black Tie):
Women: Floor-length or formal midi-length gown, or formal jumpsuit (please don’t wear white, but colors are encouraged).
Men: Tuxedo or dark suit with a dark necktie/bow tie.
